The gridComm GC1500/1508 Master Light Gateway
The gridComm GC1508 is a powerful 3-Phase DIN Rail Hybrid Power Line Communication (PLC)- Wireless (RF) Master Light Gateway designed for Street Light Control operations and other IoT sensors applications. It is powered with a Quad Core Linux platform. LoRa add-on support is available as the 19th channel for streetlights or an extension to connect with LoRa-based IoT sensors. It is an industrial-grade IoT gateway which leverages 4G/Wi-Fi/LoRa/Ethernet etc. to access the internet, supporting multiple protocols such as TCP, Modbus, MQTT, CoAP and HTTP. The Master Light Gateway (MLG) serves as a powerful concentrator and gateway connecting a network of streetlights and IoT sensors to any cloud-based management software via an open API data interface. The remote software platform then controls and monitors the operations of streetlights and IoT sensors. Turning on/off, dimming, scheduling, alarm events and data-logging functions of an individual light or a group of streetlights is just fingertips away. Besides, edge computing is supported for on-site decision-making processes such as cameras and other event-trigger sensors.
