GC2200

GC2200 is a next generation OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) power line communication transceiver designed for networking applications on the Low and Medium Voltage power distribution networks. The GC2200 contains a complete packet data modem with a simple physical layer protocol that operates at data rates of up to 175Kbps utilizing 54 carrier groups into 18 independent channels. This structure provides the user complete flexibility in trade-offs between bitrate, sensitivity and multi-node network applications. When combined with a microcontroller (MCU) the GC2200 provides a flexible cost effective solution for data links and point-to-point, star or ad hoc networks. Interface to the MCU is a 10MHz serial peripheral interface (SPI) and interrupt request output. The MCU and software can scale according to the application needs.
